Individual Therapy
True Connection offers individual talk therapy to children, youth and adults. Dana can help address issues such as childhood trauma, major life transitions, work/life stress, anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress and grief.
Family Therapy
True Connection therapy provides both equine assisted psychotherapy and talk therapy to families. Dana can help with parenting, understanding family dynamics and working through relationship struggles.
Wellness Workshops*
True Connection Therapy provides a variety of Emotional Health Workshops. Workshops include nature, play and equine assisted therapy programming to explore self-awareness, communication, cooperation and relationship skills.
Training*
Dana provides training to foster parents in both trauma and attachment.
*These services are offered as per request. Dana is a skilled facilitator and can customize content based on needs. Dana enjoys collaborating and making ideas come to life. Training can be on or offsite.
How to Make a Referral / Reach Out
Referrals are accepted through e-mail ([email protected]) or text (613 848 4163). We do not carry a waitlist and will not be able to take on new clients until September 2025.
Rates & Funding
Private mental health therapy rates are $150.00 for a 60 minute session (50 minute client contact – 10 minutes for notes). MSW's are covered under several employee benefit packages. True Connection Therapy provides mental health services through the following government funded programs: Victim Quick Response Program First Nations Non-Insured Health Benefits Program Veteran Affairs Canada Dana has a partnership with Quinte Children’s Foundation and her services can be funded under the Strive To Thrive Program, please email or text Dana to inquire about this. *Please note therapy services provided by Dana (Registered Social Worker (RSWs) can be claimed as an medical expense tax deduction when you file your income tax return.
